SLATEBOOK OS

Pricing

Priced per production, because that’s how you get paid.

Not per seat. Your freelancers, your clients and your accountant all get access for free — charging you for the people you book once a quarter would make the system worse at the job it exists to do.

Always free, on every plan

  • Every freelancer you book — profile, call sheets, availability, invoicing
  • Every client — review links, approvals, delivery
  • Your accountant — read-only access to the numbers
  • Unlimited storage of records; media stays where you keep it
Billing

Two months free. Cancel at renewal, export everything on the way out.

At your volume

£777/ MONTH

On 8 productions a month, Studio costs £124 against £133 of tooling and roughly 6 hours a week of coordination at £32.

PAYS FOR ITSELF WHEN

One kit clash is caught before the shoot day, or one event day is re-quoted for the overtime it actually ran.

WHAT WE MEASURE

Quote accuracy and shoot-week admin hours. Both are on your dashboard from week one, so the claim is falsifiable.

IF IT DOESN’T

Cancel at renewal and export every production, call sheet and contact as CSV and PDF. No exit fee, no held data.

The awkward questions

Answered plainly, because you’ll ask anyway.

Why not per seat?

Because per-seat pricing would make you think twice before adding the sound recordist you use twice a year — and the moment someone is missing from the system, the system is lying. Your team size is not a measure of the value you get; the number of jobs you run is.

What counts as a production?

One job with a client, however many shoot days it has. A two-day interview series is one production. A monthly podcast on retainer is one production per episode block, not per episode — you set the block when you create it.

We already have a call sheet tool we like.

Keep it for a month and run both. The difference is not the call sheet — it is that ours is generated from the booking, so it cannot contradict the crew list or the kit assignment. If yours is doing that already, you do not need us.

Can we get our clients in without them signing up?

Yes. Client review and delivery run on links with no account required. On House, those links live on your domain and carry your brand, so the client never sees the word Slatebook.

What happens to our data if we leave?

Everything exports: productions, call sheets, crew contacts, kit records and financials as CSV, and every generated document as PDF. Export is available on every plan at any time, not as a retention lever when you cancel.

Do you take a cut of what we bill?

No. We do not touch your invoicing, we do not take a percentage, and we do not sell your rate data. The subscription is the whole commercial relationship.
