SLATEBOOK OS

Security & data

Your rate card is the most sensitive thing you own.

Freelancer day rates, client margins, who you paid what. We treat that as the crown jewels, and we will put it in writing for your client’s procurement team.

Encryption

IN PLACE

TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest. Backups encrypted with separate keys and restore-tested monthly.

UK and EU hosting

IN PLACE

Data resident in London and Dublin. No transfer outside the UK/EU without a written agreement.

Role-based access

IN PLACE

Owner, producer, crew and client see genuinely different data. Rates and margins are never exposed sideways.

Audit trail

IN PLACE

Every change to a booking, rate or approval is logged with who and when. Exportable for a client audit.

SSO and 2FA

HOUSE PLAN

Two-factor on every plan. SAML single sign-on for groups running multiple companies.

ISO 27001

IN PROGRESS · Q2

Certification underway. We will tell you where we actually are rather than implying a badge we do not hold.

A freelancer sees their own call sheet, their own rate and their own invoices. Never another freelancer’s rate, never the client margin.

Media stays where you keep it

We do not store your rushes. Slatebook holds records and documents — bookings, call sheets, costs, approvals — and links to wherever your media lives.

That keeps your storage bill yours, keeps our surface area small, and means a Slatebook outage never blocks an edit.
